Son’s of Anarchy, Season Four

We didn’t quite know what we were going to see this season as they concluded season three for us in November. No one knew how long the beloved SAMCRO members would be in prison, who would be around when they got out and what would happen to the town. The season premier was more than most thought it could be. If you missed the live chat, a lot of questions were answered and a lot were left up in the air. We aren’t here to rehash the live chat, we are here to talk of the actual season premier.

We waited patiently for the beginning of the season to find out what happened to our favorite motorcycle club. Last we had seen of them they were getting carted off in the patty wagon to the local prison where they would serve 14 months. During that time if you have checked the official facebook page you will see that Jax got stabbed in prison while making a phone call, we don’t know to whom but can safely assume it was either to his mother or to Tara. We don’t find out until the premier who it was, and it turns out that it was the Russians who they had bad dealings with last season. If you remember it was the Russians who got stiffed on the payoff for Jimmy O’Phelan who got killed at the end by Chibs. That wasn’t the only killing from the finale of last season and the one I am speaking of is that nasty little FBI agent June Stahl. She tried to get Jax to turn against his club, only he worked it out with them so they knew the whole thing was a crock. The problem was that they had to fool a lot of people in the process, namely Gemma and Tara.

So they are out of prison and busy again. They are still dealing in the guns, only this time they had enough sense to rid themselves of the Russians that really are more trouble than they are worth. The beautiful part was they got killed during Opie and Lila’s wedding and the local police didn’t see them leave, so technically they have a rock solid alibi. They found out that things definately had changed in Charming as they have a new mayor and police department. Other things are changing and it looks at least from the outside that it is for the good of Charming. New developments new rules, and the police are even Gang Task Force sent in technically from Oakland.

It is starting to show in the hands of the President that things won’t be the same for the club for long, that is if it is to return to normal. He has horrible arthritus and the treatments are almost just not enough. Jax tells Tara that when that happen’s he is going to get out of the life and they can move away and start fresh with their new family. Opie still doesn’t know about the abortion that his new wife had last season, that I have a feeling will be creeping up because he just can’t wait to add to the family. Gemma is going to go find out what Tara knows and I don’t think it will be pretty, especially if she gets ahold of the letters that John had written to Maureen. In those letters was when he told her he had thought that Gemma and Clay were trying to kill him and that if he had died that it could be assumed that they were guilty of the crime.

Now that Jax is the father of two and Tara has taken Abel on as her own, he finally decided it was time to propose to her. She seems unsure and I don’t recall her giving him a true answer. It seems also that she has much to tell him about what she learned of his father while he was away. Piney didn’t want her to bring it all up but she did anyway or so it seems. Now that the club is back together what will they do next. It is being said that they can’t buy this police force, and it looks as though Danny Trujillo is heading to the cast of the Son’s.Former Sherriff Unser is still unwell. He has cancer and since separating from his wife has discontinued his medication. Gemma asked Clay to go and visit him becuse she thinks he deserves it for all that he had done for SAMCRO. Other than helping him to pay for his medication’s and someone to help him to heal there isn’t much else for them to do. Don’t forget to watch next week with another all new episode. It airs Tuesday nights at 10/9c on FX.
