Somebody Loves Me, Somebody Cares?

Don’t let your mind wander, cause it isn’t that kind of “virus.” Seems each and every year, I pick up a virus cause someone loves me so much from wandering the internet. So I got it, and my “computer’s” got it. For the last week, I have been trying to deal with the “loved” ones that keep infecting this old computer of mine and each year, I have to totally overhaul it. I may be gone for awhile, and then I might not. It all depends on how it goes with the “overhaul.”

Took me over two months the last time. Don’t you just love those who have so much time on their hands that they just have to use their puny brains to **** with someone elses stuff? From the very start of learning to use this gadget called a computer, it’s a good thing I learned digital electronics back in the 80’s. Along with it, I learned to program and totally redo, you guessed it, computers. At the time, I learned to repair electronic gadgets, I was working on trying to come up with a voice synthesizer for computers. I had so many of them at one time that I didn’t know if I was coming or going progressively. I have come up with a few inventions in my lifetime, but never had the money to invest in them. The very first one I thought of was harnessing the wind to make electricity. Oh, yes, at the tender young age of 14, we used to live on the outskirts of town with a windmill next to the house. May sound like a brag, but had it not been for the patent lawyer who stole the idea after sending him my plans, I wonder where I’d be financially by now.

Many think it a joke that I would take credit for the turbines many are using today, but then I never was the type who sought credit for anything. I have always thought that whatever a person came up with to make life simpler for others, I myself would benefit from it too. STILL, I never gave that patent lawyer the rest of the plans for the wind turbine idea. You see, I only sent him “half” the plans because I didn’t trust him and I have never been wrong about people. Seeing all these turbines today “without” the rest of the plans I drew up in my youth, makes me wonder if they will ever figure out the part I thought of back when I was 14.

Practically, since the age of 12, I have been a whiz at electronics. As such, I always tinkered around with just about anything that ran on electricity. Guess that was why I thought of the wind turbine idea at such a young age. I am sure many take the credit for many an idea I have thought of but deep down, the one thing that has always made me feel better than making myself rich, has been to know someone out there who wished to steal the idea still hasn’t figured out “my” finished plans for some of these gadgets. I have had many throughout my life wishing me to build them one thing or another in electronics, but about the only thing that has ever gone to someone else, was an amp I built the Army wanted to buy. I even built a TV once that a Highway patrolman tried to get me to sell him.

Computer’s? Well, I still wonder when someone is going to build one that other people can’t **** with. It gets annoying to find out, that somewhere, somehow, even with all the security crap in them, they get infected with something from the Internet. This time, is not as bad as the last time. Last time it got a virus, all the drives locked me out from trying to repair the computer. “None” of the drives would work. I had to bypass programming to install an older drive it wouldn’t recognize so as to delete the virus. Once I did, I got the rest of the drives to work. “This” time, all my security programs gave it a try, but something still got passed them to where I get a minor glitch locking up my computer from time to time. I ran recovery only to have MORE programming lost. When I ran it a second time, even MORE data got destroyed, so I had to do an entire recovery which is still showing up as a small lock up. Minor, but still irritating.

Tomorrow, I plan a total overhaul of all systems. Wish me luck, cause I’m going to get that loving sucker someone put in my computer and I am going to KILL IT. Seems that about the only way to kill a virus on a hard drive, is to reinstall Windows from “scratch.” A lot of work, but it’s been two years since the last infection. I would like for those who love to do this to other peoples computers to know that I LOVE YOU, you “@$$)(#!& !” Hope I never get your IP # to give you a surprise of my OWN.The mistake the last person made was leaving this evidence to trace back to the “source.” Hackers are convinced of their superiority when it come to infecting computers, never knowing there’s always someone “smarter.”
