Six Cult Beauty Products Worth the Money

There’s a huge list of cult beauty products out there. Some don’t live up to their cult status, but others certainly do. The six products listed below are, in my opinion, absolutely worthy of their “cult beauty product” titles.

Nars Blush – Orgasm
I tried this cult beauty product around 3 years ago after reading rave reviews on it. I’ve been hooked ever since! It’s kind of painful to cough up $20 or so odd dollars, but Nars blush lasts forever and I usually one replace it once or twice a year! A definite must have for any complexion.

Smashbox O-Glow
I’m all over products that do cool things. That’s why I snatched up some of Smashbox’s O-Glow to give it a whirl. I was kind of amused at how the clear liquid turned into a pink hue. I loved how it actually did adjust to my rather pale complexion without looking too pink or costumey.

Urban Decay Primer Potion
I got Urban Decay’s Primer Potion as a sample with some of my other purchase cosmetics, so I decided to give it a go. It went on smoothly and did an excellent job of keeping my makeup in place. Compared to other eyeshadow primers, I’ve found that Urban Decay’s does just as well, if not better. It especially comes in handy with shimmery or sparkly shadows that tend to fall onto my cheekbones.

Olay’s Regenerist Daily Regenerist Cleanser
I’m a big fan of the Olay’s Regenerist line, especially their exfoliating Daily Regenerist Cleanser. It’s not a harsh exfoliator, so it’s gentle on your face while still giving you that extra clean feeling. After wetting my face with warm water, I massage the cleanser onto my skin for three to four minutes using a circular motion. After rising with cool water, I gently pat dry with a clean towel. I’ve used this product twice per day for the past two years and am really pleased with the results. My skin looks and feels young and acne is not a problem!

Stila “Stays All Day” Eyeliner
I’m a big fan of anything Stila, so I had to try their raved-about “Stays All Day” eyeliner to see if the product was true to its name. Turns out, this baby is the best waterproof eyeliner I own. It goes on smoothly and then, just like the product name promises, stays put all day long. I especially love this product on hot days in the Phoenix sun where sweating can’t be avoided.

Queen Helene’s Mint Julep Mask
Queen Helene’s Mint Julep Mask is one of my all time favorite products on the market. The product is super inexpensive at under $5 for a giant tube and I use it about once a month as a face mask to tighten pores and reduce acne. I also use it as a spot treatment for those pesky pimples that pop up every once in a while. It seems to zap them right at the source! As for the mask, it boasts the ability to shrink pores, refine skin and dry out blemishes and Queen Helene’s Mint Julep Mask delivers. It’s available to purchase at most drug stores and online.
