Every week I scour my Sunday newspaper, Ebay, and online websites for manufacturer coupons I can save on my one weekly grocery trip. Sometimes it’s a feverish rush to try and find the actual manufacture’s coupons that my family actually eats that would benefit us the most. In the last year of my actually being labeled a “couponer”, I have learned that there is several manufactures I have always been able to more bang for my buck. Some manufacturers have been generous with their coupon giving, and some are in my folder labeled cheapskate; however, the top seven most generous and useful manufacturer coupons are as follows:
V8 juice
This is a manufacturer that every week I visit their website always has a dollar off coupon for my favorite fruit juice. In store at full price, I pay 7.98 for two which can be expensive, but after the coupon I roughly save 13% off of full retail price. My savings has even hit a maximum of 75% when my grocer has had them two for six or the occasional rare BOGO,
Yoplait Yogurt
This is one manufacturer that I buy a plethora of products every month. The most basic, higher coupons they send out in the Sunday paper is $1.00 off eight. The sale of yogurt in my grocery store rarely changes from 8 for $5.00. This adds another 25% savings to my grocery bill. In addition, they always have other good coupons on their granola and Greek yogurt brands.
Tyson Chicken
In store, Tyson chicken can get a little expensive, but it is so tempting because to two full time college students it makes a quick lunch or dinner. Retail price ranges from $4.99 to $8.99 depending on the store and different products, but there is several different coupons that take between a dollar to two dollars off depending on the type of chicken. This manufacturer coupon helps grab me another savings of 15% to 50% depending on whether it is full retail, on sale, and the occasional BOGO.
General Mills and Kellogg’s’ cereal
These two manufacturers are competing companies, but the savings amount is eerily similar for both companies. The most common coupon from these companies is $1.00 off the purchase off two brands of cereal. In the past when I bought more cereal, I was normally a Cinnamon Toast Crunch or Frosted Flakes girl, and the price of two cereals normally ran me about $6.00 to $7.00; however, this normally a 15% savings on cereal that lasts me several weeks was a great buy.
Campbell’s soup
With this manufacturer, I normally find the most variety of coupon savings. From $1.00 off four select harvest cans to $2.00 off of ten cooking soups, I can many varied ways depending on my needs at the time. In addition, these coupons are some of the most common I see in my dwindling, coupon selfish newspaper. My most basic savings has typically been about a rough 16% on five cooking soups after a dollar off.
Pillsbury sugary goodness
This is one company of sinful goodness I rarely go crazy on when buying; however, this is one of the easiest coupons to find anywhere whether online, the paper, or the store. Whether I am in the mood for cinnamon rolls, biscuits, crescent rolls, or cookies, I always manage to save a rough 30 percent when they 2 or 3 for $1.00. Plus, the price on three typically ranges less than five dollars in store.
Jimmy Dean
Last, but not least, Jimmy Dean is another generous manufacturer to a couponer. I rarely find coupons on their website, but this is a frequent addition to the RedPlum savings add I get with my paper. At $3.99 in store for a bag of turkey sausage, their one dollar off coupons for the purchase off one item knocks 25% off the price.
Depending on a couponer’s needs, there are several other manufactures that do send out great coupons; although, they typically are not as generous. Bisquick, Hormel, Betty Crocker, among others are just a few extra examples.
