The ambiance is filled with warmth and comfort giving the restaurant a cozy atmosphere that reminds you of family. The owner’s name is Phil and he is simply the Italian grandfather you never had. It seems as if he visits each table personally and greets you with a smile. His heartfelt welcome gives you a feeling of a home away from home.
I recently ordered from P.J. Charlton in a major rain storm and was going to run to pick up my order myself, but before I could Phil was at my office with a huge smile saying ‘No problem’! What service! What a great guy! What great food! P.J. Charlton is a great place for lovers, friends, colleagues, client dinners or any other occasion or excuse to enjoy the Eggplant Parmigiana.
I’ve had a number of Eggplant Parmigiana dishes but not one compares to the Eggplant Parmigiana at P.J. Charlton. Its simply amazing. It stands at least five or six layers high, filled with eggplant and covered wit mozzarella cheese and it is a favorite by all who dine there. It melts in your mouth and leaves you wanting more.
