Moore’s 911 Call Sheds Light on Her Failed Marriages and Past Drug Use

The 911 call that landed Demi Moore in a hospital has not only been released, but has brought up many accusations that past drug and alcohol abuse have ended her marriages and aided in lost ventures. When people began turning on Ashton Kutcher for cheating on her with a 22 year old woman, little did the public know there may have been a reason for him leaving and in that manner. It would be hard to believe the abuse was not related to her recent divorce considering her struggle with addiction has continued since the 1980’s and may be the cause of her other divorces.

Below is the gritty past full of accusations of abuse that have haunted Moore:

* Director of “St. Elmo’s Fire”, Joel Schumacher, reportedly told People magazine in the 1980s that he threatened to fire Moore if she didn’t get help for her drug use.

* In 2007, Moore’s ex-husband Bruce Willis admits he and Moore struggled with alcoholism and that they warned their children of the inheritable gene.

* In October, sources close to Moore allegedly told Life & Style that the actress’s drinking problem was out of control and that Moore was in a bad place.

* In January, the 911 call that sent Moore to the Sherman Oaks Hospital was released. Although some details were edited out, the caller can still be heard saying Moore had smoked something and that she has been dealing with a lot of issues. Many are saying that “whippets” are to blame for the hospital trip.

All the claims make perfect sense when you figure her upbringing into the equation. She nicknamed herself the “trailer park kid” and didn’t have a stable home as a child. The man Moore called “dad” eventually committed suicide, and her mom struggled with abuse as well.

For now, it seems Moore’s failed marriage with Ashton Kutcher may have begun with her struggle with abuse. She has allegedly been taking prescription drugs and struggles with anorexia. Adding to the devastation, her latest project to play feminist Gloria Steinem in “Lovelace” has been given to someone else. Until she sobers up, her history of abuse will continue to hurt her relationships, careers, and charity work.
