Macy’s fires Christian employee for protecting women’s dressing room from transgender

Expletives from transgender and did not deter Natalie Johnson from standing firm in her faith and convictions, which ultimately got her fired.

Ms. Johnson saw the young man walking out of the women’s dressing room, and politely informed him that he could not return because it was for women only, according to Liberty Council. The cross dressing young male claimed to be female; he was wearing make-up and female clothing, but was clearly a male. He was accompanied by five other individuals.

The group used expletives, while claiming that Macy’s is LGBT friendly, to which Johnson responded that Macy’s “is also non-discriminatory toward religion, and that it would go against her religious beliefs to lie that he was a woman or compromise with homosexuality.” T

At that the group then demanded to speak with a manager. Johnson’s boss then reminded Johnson of the LGBT-policy that allows transgender people to use any dressing room they choose. She also demanded that Johnson comply with the policy or lose her job. Johnson could not go against her convictions or faith, and was terminated.

Macy’s has essentially opened the door for any man to choose any dressing room.
