La Canadienne Boots for Fall or Winter

Putting on socks for the first time today since June, I realized I need to start thinking about shoes for the winter that I can wear through the snow, sludge to bus stops in when in the city, and show up to meet new clients in and look dazzling as I enter their offices from the elements. Here are three boots that are stylish, durable, and practical, as all three are waterproof and have soft microfiber lining that is antibacterial with wick away features to make you comfortable for a full day’s work– in addition to commuting through the elements. All three also have great zippers for easy on and off (I just don’t have patience for tug-of-wars with my shoes).

At first I was like, blah blah, another pair of black boots-then I saw them tried on…and this boot looks HOT with jeans! Lucky for me a few days a week I can go to work in “office casual” attire, and these are definitely going on my feet in the evenings when I go out. I felt SEXY, yet sleek and put-together wearing these boots. They have the perfect amount of height to them and really dress up a jean. I want them based on looks alone. It doesn’t matter to me that they have memory foam insoles that will keep my arches singing after 5 hours of wear (or dancing). It doesn’t matter to me that the suede upper is seam-sealed to keep the weather out. It doesn’t matter to me that the soft antibacterial microfiber is hydrophylic to keep my feet oh so fresh. I just want these boots because they make my feet look sensuously sizzling, and put a bounce of confidence in my step.

These boots are urban. They’ve got some “‘tude” to them. These boots totally have a B.C., Canada, or Seattle/Portland sensibility to them. They come in three colors: Black Leather, Stone Oiled Suede, and Terra Vintage Leather (my favorite). These boots are a bit more rugged and will hold up well in the weather. If you’re sick of “girly” boots, these have a harness detail that make them a little “motorcycle chic”(especially in Black Leather). What I really like about these boots is the heel and outersole, I will definitely keep my feet warm and dry, and won’t have to worry about slipping around on wet or even icy pavement with these boots. With their durable TPR lug outsole which delivers grip on a variety of surfaces, I’ll feel almost guaranteed to have sure footing. Also, I think when I slip these boots on, I ‘ll have the confidence to not take much guff from-nobody-no-how, and stick a little bit more to my guns-so to speak. These shoes also offer the Memory Foam insoles, which your feet will thank you for.

These boots stood out to me because they’re a little bit different than the others, with a shapeliness to them and a wedge heel. This boot comes in five color choices: Black, Brown, Charcoal, Smoke, and Taupe Suede. It was the Charcoal Suede with the lighter color stitching that first caught my eye-I like the interesting color contrast created and the shapely curves created by the design of the stitch. These boots have a soft, supple Italian calf suede upper that is seam-sealed to guarantee waterproof construction. Yes, these boots also have the memory foam and microfiber lining, but it’s the stylish wedge heel that offers a balanced look to the sleek upper, and the soles of the shoes are very bendy–flexible for comfort when walking. In addition, the durable TPR rubber outsole offers walking stability, which is very important in the elements. These boots are versatile, and will look great with pants, jeans, or skirts, and the stitch detailing creates a slimming look for the foot, ankle and leg. Last but not least, the components of this boot are Italian-which is the highest class of boot in my opinion, and you can feel good about them being made in Canada and supporting North American industry.
