Let’s be truthful here. Does anyone really want to see Kim Kardashian live happily ever after?
The Kardashian clan took their famous last name and capitalized on it by overexposing themselves via reality television, product endorsement and in Kim’s case, an infamous sex tape. Kris Kardashian-Jenner is perhaps the most blatant example of the ultimate stage mother, selling her daughters to the highest bidder.
Although many of us claim to despise stage mothers, many of us tune in to watch one or all of the many Kardashian “reality” shows.
This family, whose claim to fame is due to their late father’s/ex-husband’s notoriety as being part of OJ Simpson’s “dream team” is the only reason why anyone knew their last name. Smart marketing and grabbing every opportunity turned the Kardashian’s into a multi-million dollar brand. Only in America.
Kim Kardashian is a sad example of what happens when material possessions and the drive for fame rule your life. You cannot possibly live a Walt Disney “happily ever after” existence when you have cameras following you around to document your life.
Maybe, just maybe, a “happily ever after” could happen but not with a man than you barely know. Again, the ideal partner for Kim Kardashian would have to be someone just as self-absorbed and fame-hungry as she is but even that would not work. When your life is so self-focused, there isn’t room for other’s feelings or needs.
Do we really pay all that much attention to the Kardashian’s? It is hard not to when the media saturates us with the latest antics of the Kardashian girls. Does anyone really expect Kim Kardashian to live “happily ever after”? Probably not, because unlike Kris Humphries, we can all see Kim for who she really is- a self-absorbed, materialistic media whore who although she claims to want to fall in love and have a family, she is not capable of living a life that does not revolve around herself.
Maybe that is harsh but all one needs to do is watch 15 minutes of any of her reality shows to see who Kim Kardashian really is.
Yes, she is one helluva businesswoman. She has sold herself for the love of money. Her life is all about her.
People who live that way can never find the happiness that others who are not self-absorbed can experience.
As for Kris Humphries, who knows what really motivated him to get involved with Kim Kardashian. It is hard to believe that he did not know who he was getting emotionally involved with. The rest of us could tell just what kind of woman she is.
The public is not surprised that Kim’s fairytale wedding ended in divorce filing 72 days after the extravaganza. Many of us wonder why it took that long.
