Is Tim Tebow an Elite Quarterback?

He’s a winner. The plain and simple fact is, Tim Tebow is a winner and despite his throwing accuracy, he knows how to win games in the 4th quarter when the other team is tired. He knows when to “turn it on” and take advantage of the other team being tired. He literally plays mediocre all game until the 4th quarter at which point he literally turns on the jets and blows past everyone.

Running ability. For years, teams have tried to build an offense that can slowly chip away at other teams until the 4th quarter when the other team is tired and has “dead legs.” With Tim Tebow, you can run the football all game and score points while wearing the opposing defense down. You can stay in games until late in the 4th quarter and then let your work horse in Tim Tebow get those last few touchdowns easily. His legs don’t get tired as easily it seems.

Never give up, attitude. Tim Tebow has a “Never give up” attitude which makes it demoralizing for other teams, knowing they have a 60 minute ball game that is going to take every last minute to win can be heart wrenching. Especially when the opposing quarterback can run the football like Tim Tebow. He wears you down with his legs then outruns you when your legs get tired in the 4th quarter.

Yes, he’s elite. To answer the question, is Tim Tebow an elite quarterback? Yes, he has all the tangible and intangible qualities in both a winner and an elite quarterback. Will he be mentioned with Tom Brady and Peyton manning when it’s all said and done? I don’t know, but he should be. He will at least be mentioned in the multiple super bowl category. I definitely believe he will win multiple super bowls and he’s already in the hall of fame in my book.
