How to Save a Relationship or Marriage

The cesspool of feminized relationship counselors has plagued our generation for long enough. Bureaucrats with notarized degree forms throw around terms like “communicate” and “give each other space” without any understanding of what the terms actually entail. Serially monogamous men and women get stuck in pathetically hopeless relationships with their equally desperate counter parts. No one knows what to do, or where to start. A return to the fundamentals is in call for. I guarantee if anyone does even 3 out of the 4 following things, their relationship will bounce back from the depths of ennui.

Dread and anxiety will do more for a relationship than any amount of flowers and chocolates. You want to fix your relationship? Supercharge it with a dose of competitive anxiety. Remind your partner that you are a prize to be pried off the sexual market. Bring an element of challenge. The moment your partner thinks that she is the only source of intimacy you are capable of attaining is the moment your relationship will start going downhill.

Work on yourself. Get that promotion at your job, that physique you’ve always yearned for. Monogamy renders ambition sterile. Find ways to motivate yourself, reignite your hunger for competition. Find ways to recreate your character, amp up your game and rebound from your vacuity.

Be less available, less needy, and more confident. Be the guy she fell in love with 10 years ago. The one who never got jealous, who stayed cool in every situation, the emotional oak tree who never got sucked into the drama that vacillated around him. The one who occasionally ignored texts and phone calls because he had a greater purpose in life and was too busy burying his enemies.

Speak womenspeak. Don’t communicate overtly, stop wearing your heart on your sleeve. Be charming in your answers, don’t take her insults seriously. Treat her with an amused sense of mastery. Immerse yourself in the art of disinterested love. Learn to be loving and aloof at the same time. Learn to read her body language and interpret her facial expressions. Read between the poetry.
