The beginning of fall does not mean you have to say good bye to all your summer favorites just yet. There are many ways to incorporate your favorite summer pieces into fall by adding some other elements and making them cool weather appropriate.

One of summers most famous looks is summer dresses, which are easily transformed into fall by adding simple extras. One way is by adding a light sweater on top, button up or pull over works for this either way you warm up without giving up a favorite piece of clothing just yet. Leggins and tights can also warm up this outfit and if your daring try adding socks to your mary jane shoes!
This summer big beach hats were all the rage and even into fall the trend is going strong. Instead of wearing a straw beach hat try wearing a suede or felt floppy hat instead and keep the brims big thought the winter months.

Now many of us show lovers are getting down with the falling temps, but do not be so quick to put away those favorite shoes. Try adding long knee high socks to some of those summer shoes and see where they take you also try adding tights. Many open toed shoes can easily be pulled off by adding socks and tights and be worn into winter.
The old rule of not wearing white after Labor Day is dead and gone so bring out those white outfits a few more times this fall and try mixing them with bold prints and fall like colors such as reds and oranges. Those white skinny jeans and flowing linen pants are still good for little while longer so wear them while you can.

Now remember there are lots of ways to wear your summer favorites into the fall and winter months just know when to draw the line. Whatever you do, do not mix winter and summer textures and fabrics and worst of all trends. Blending into seasons is one thing but wearing your daisy dukes with your Ugg boots is wrong.
