How to Avoid Depression Through the Universal Consciousness

Symptoms of depression can drain a person of their energy, vitality, and their overall cognitive ability to maintain memory. Severe bouts of melancholy can be associated with chemical imbalances in the brain, or, adhered by tragic events in a person’s past. Over the decades, various kinds of medicines have been manufactured and distributed to individuals suffering from depression; most of the time causing side effects or worsening what it was intended to cure. Instead of risking the unknown effects of taking medication, I can only offer a few steps I created that helped bring me out of my own span of depression. Hopefully my frail words make sense and bring a sense of comfort.

Time is an expansion for us to wander upon, to roam amongst its opportunities; fear not for uncertainty, because chances are always given as they are followed upon by the physical body. Do not stay indoors for too long, locked in a dark room; restricting your soul from the light of the world is the worst act of oppression that can be done. Bathe your weary eyes in the plentiful amounts of life forms that inhabit the grounds and air: the trees, plants, birds, and animals. Their appearance may be different then yours, but the molecular composition of their being is the same as you; you are essentially the branching of life, separated by the manifestation of matter; yet, completely interlinked with all life.

Time allows the healing of wounds through the experience of existence. Past mistakes and events are lost in the past, therefore, they no longer define who you are; you are a soul within a body constructed of earthly materials: water, salt, zinc, potassium, nickel, and many other minerals, which are always directly below your feet. You are never alone.

Find time for yourself to ponder on the positive admiration of your individualistic perception. Meditation is the best way to relax the body and mind; it has been found that meditation helps with stress, hypertension, and can lower high cholesterol. (http://www.tm.org/tm-10-facts)

I hope my words brought a different point of view to gaze from, and enhanced your understanding.
