Hello everyone, I love the festive look of Halloween, which always gives me a good excuse to watch a great Halloween movie, like HALLOWEEN! Nothing beats a great classic, right? Anyway, I really enjoy the whole Halloween series, from the original set to the revised set. I however, only have the movies, up to, Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers. I was a little confused, because when the movie is played, the title is Halloween 5. However, on the menus list, it reads as “Halloween 5 The Revenge of Micheal Myers.”
As I did a little research on yahoo, I discovered there where various opinions on this subject. My journey finally led me to the official website of Micheal Myers, http://halloweenmovies.com, and according to them, there have been 11 movies. The first eight were in the original franchise, the first being Halloween and ending with Halloween Resurrection, and the later 3 are in the revisited franchise started by rob zombie. Anyway, check it out for yourself, but I believe this is the best answer to this question, “How many Halloween movies are there in the franchise?”
Halloween was a great starter in the flasher genre, which laid way for other successful horror franchises, and in my opinion, will always been one of the best horror classics ever made. Happy Halloween!
