Ghostly Visits Provide Untimely Death

After driving all day, my husband and I arrived at a beautiful, historic bed and breakfast located by a busy marina near Fort Mason, CA. After checking in, we promptly went to bed and fell asleep. A while later I awoke suddenly to someone watching me. I could feel him in the room but I was not scared. Slowly opening my eyes, I saw a man in military uniform, quite handsome with wavy, sandy brown hair, clean shaven, and light colored eyes, staring down at me from my side of the bed.

He was in full form, not transparent. He reached down to me, touching my cheek with the back of his hand gently and patiently and simply said, “Come back to me.” Without hesitation I said, “I cannot right now but will in time.”

He again said, “Come back to me. I miss you.” To this I responded, “In another lifetime I will.” I reached out to him and hugged the apparition closely, as if I knew this man intuitively but somehow did not recognize him at all by appearance. He would have been dead at least 25 years before I was even born if he died while in World War II, which is the impression I received.

The ghost disappeared and I closed my eyes, but now I was aware of other presences in the room, and they were quite frightening. I tried to awaken my husband by nudging and kicking him but he was sleeping soundly. Not knowing what else to do, I grabbed my digital camera and began taking photos in the room, which by now was lit up with the sunrise. The first photo was of an empty doorway. The second photo was of the bedroom in general. When I looked at the results I was horrified. In the door way stood two men and a woman, all three looking at the camera with solemn faces. The picture of the room showed many people standing there expressionless; all looking at me take the photo. One person in the background stood out to me as he was darker in appearance, almost as if physically removing the light from the air with a horrifying expression on his face. Seeing this entity, I suddenly lay back down in the bed, heart racing and hyperventilating.

The last photo taken was an accident but I couldn’t look away from the results. It was snapped at the ceiling as I lay back in bed. When the image appeared on the camera, there was the dark, menacing thing standing over me. I immediately went into cardiac arrest and died right there in bed, joining my World War II lover sooner than I had anticipated. As I left my body, I looked back at myself and noticed that my husband was still sleeping very peacefully by a dead woman who’s frightened face will haunt him for as long as he lives.
