Better Homes and Garden: From Placemat to Pillow

The Better Homes and Garden website shows how they turned two placemats into two different pillows.

For the first pillow they stitched a monogram onto one placemat, and topstitched it to the other, filling the pillow with stuffing. For the other pillow they simply sewed it together to form an envelope, inserted a pillow form, and closed it with a large decorative broach. These pillows are very easy to make, and require only basic sewing skills to create them.
