Five Runs in Sixth Inning Leads to a Win for Brewers

After taking game one, the Milwaukee Brewers look to take a 2-0 series lead today as they faced the Arizona Diamondbacks at Miller Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The Brewers wasted no time by getting on the scoreboard when Ryan Braun, (who got three hits in game one), hit a two run homer in the first inning.
The Diamondbacks got one back at the top of the second inning when Paul Goldschmidt hit a solo home run.
Prince Fielder put the Brewers up 3-1 in the bottom of the third (inning) by driving in Braun from second base with a RBI single.
Rickie Weeks made it 4-1 when he hit a RBI triple, driving in Fielder all the way from first base.
Things seemed to go smoothly for Milwaukee until the top of the fourth when Chris Young hit a solo home run to cut the Brewers lead to 4-2.
In the next inning, Arizona tied the game when Justin Upton hit a two run shot to right field.
The Brewers went up by one run in the sixth inning when Jonathan Lucroy bunted, reached second base on a throwing error by pitcher, Brad Ziegler, driving in Jerry Hairston from third (base).
The Brewers weren’t done yet in the inning. With bases loaded, Corey Hart singled to center field, which drove in Yuniesky Betancourt to make it 6-4 Brewers.
The next batter, Nyjer Morgan, singled to center (field), driving in both Lucroy and Mark Kotsay.
The Brewers then went up 9-4 in the same inning when Braun also singled to center, driving in Hart.
The Diamondbacks threatened to score in both the seventh and eighth inning, but came up empty.
At the top of the nineth inning, with two outs, two on base, John Axford struck out Goldschmidt to end the game.
