Cable management!
Anyone who owns a desk is familiar with this aggravating and sometimes impossible task, managing all your cables. I have tried a variety of products, some expensive other inexpensive, only to never complete the mission. As a student I value the real estate of my desk. I need a simple cable management system that would not only hide all my wires, but also not encroaches on my much-needed desktop. As technology advances one thing will always remain the same, lots and lots of cables. Ironically one of my majors is Health Informatics and our primary objective is to remove all pre historic paper systems from hospitals and make everything more efficient. The large cablebox is just as awesome as the small; you can fit side-by-side surge protectors, and a variety of other clunky devices inside it. I was able to load mine up with a side-by-side surge protector, all the wires running to two computers, one tablet, lights, the power to my USB hub, and other health sciences equipment. Again there is no loss of space, so on the top I place my airport extreme, and put the backup hard drive inside the box. So now if you can imagine I have a sleek desktop, and clutter free desk floor, no wires showing at all. Mission accomplished!!!!!!
