Stacy Keibler, Baltimore hometown girl, former Ravens cheerleader, wrestler, and current arm candy of George Clooney, will be one of the most photographed women to grace the red carpet Sunday night. With only a few days left to prepare for the biggest night in Hollywood, several local residents have some advice for Ms. Keibler on how to complement her features so that they look beautiful on live television and in print.
With an athletic build that towers over her escort, Mr. Clooney, the consensus seems to be that Ms. Keibler should opt for demure and feminine. Though most agree she has done pretty well they officially made their relationship public, Baltimore fashionistas want to see a softer Stacy.
Fashionably Young consultant Felicia Peele thinks Keibler would shine in a gold gown. The glow would work with her coloring and make her look more feminine. Peele feels some past choices make her look “a little hard.” Softening her face is what Peele would concentrate on. Most of her gowns have been good choices, preferring ladylike Carolina Herrera and recently, a black Marchesa number for the Screen Actors’ Guild Awards.
Peele would like Keibler to pay more attention to her hair. Rocking the California girl look with long, blonde tresses, her hair tends to look dry and in need of intense moisturizing. Ringlets dangling from an updo would look pretty and dainty. Rebecca Lowry, of Parkville’s Trenditions, and Zoey Washington of LITTLEByrd Style also agree that her hair should be up and away from her face.
Although she looked stunning in a red Valentino gown at the Golden Globes in January, with a bed-head updo, she will probably wear a less bold color as not to outshine her date. Clooney, after all, is the A-list star of the duo, nominated for his role in “The Descendants.” Something form-fitting in the pale or nude palette, or dark emerald or sapphire blue would be good choices as they would look terrific with her coloring, would “girly” her up a bit, show off her toned body and let her guy be the center of the attention.
According to the UK’s Daily Mail Online, he recently said in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter that he feels his loneliest in the public arena or in a bad relationship. He also discussed his insomnia and pain he continues to suffer from an accident, but does not discuss Stacy. She knows her place on this biggest night of the year for her partner.
