“Bachelor Pad” Vienna Girardi Back to Evil Ways

Vienna Girardi the villain? We haven’t seen this role before have we? As if she prepared for the worst, Vienna returned to her old “Bachelor” form on the opener of “Bachelor Pad 2″ on Monday night.

Not only has Vienna turned Kasey into a bumbling fool, she has also disgraced former love Jake Pavelka to the point it’s making her look like the evil one. Maybe we did forgive Vienna for being the early villain on “The Bachelor” Jake season. After all, she did make Jake look like a big bully and egomaniac upon her exit interview with Jake and host Chris Harrison months after the two broke up. So those of us who empathized with her plight got one huge constant reminder of just how wicked Vienna can be. Is it an act? Or is she just going way too overboard in trying to burn Jake Pavelka.

So what happened on “Bachelor Pad 2″ that was so villanous from Vienna? Jake went out of his way to try and make amends. Perhaps Jake was just doing this to turn his image back around after Vienna slammed it when she walked away crying during that pivotal Chris Harrison post-Bachelor interview.
Perhaps Jake really does want to set things straight. Who knows but isn’t it worth giving the guy the benefit of the doubt. It’s unlikely anyone would take the words from Vienna beyond a shadow of a doubt given her past on the show-nor would they do the same for Jake.

So Jake does the most odd thing he can possibly do on “Bachelor Pad 2.” He has the ability to hand someone a rose so they will not get kicked off. He opts to give it to Vienna to make peace. Vienna and her boyfriend Kasey, who throws out the word “protect” more than any human being should be allowed, just laugh at the Jake attempt to make things right. Instead, she vows to continue to fight to kick the guy off. It was a very classless moment for a person who simply refuses to forgive and forget. Vienna takes a grudge and turns it into a nightmare for the individual she once had a relationship with. Instead of getting on with her life, she continues to hold this grudge and tries to make Jake miserable while playing the sympathy card. Maybe Vienna is an actress and the show is staged. If she is truly acting this way then there is only one word in my mind to describe the “Bachelor Pad 2″ Vienna character-evil.

Not only is she unwilling to give the whole bad experience with Jake thing up-she is also nearly manipulating her new boyfriend Kasey into a possible altercation with Jake. Jake, all the while, has been playing the high road and ready to move on. He even admitted it was more important for him to set things straight with Vienna than to win the money.

Here is my thing. If Vienna knew Jake was going to be on the show-why did she come on “Bachelor Pad 2″ if she hates him so much. If it is such a nightmare, why does she want to be around the guy(who seemingly doesn’t seem to bother her at all and instead tries in vain to appease her)?

My gut feeling is that Vienna is just overplaying this sympathy card as much as she can. Regardless of her current relationship, Vienna continues to want more sympathy and perhaps even recognition from what happened on “The Bachelor” season with Jake. It just seems way overplayed and I am almost positive the majority of people who watch the show can only come to one conclusion…”please give it up, already!”

The fact that she seems so willing to curse his name to everyone not only represents a person who can’t get on with her life but it also represents a person who is hell-bent on destroying the reputation of another person. We can only believe that a person is “so much evil.” Okay, we get it. Jake has his bad moments. He did things in your relatioship that were questionable. The appropriate thing is to move on and wish the other person well. Jake isn’t a convicted killer-he’s a guy who it didn’t work out with.

Jake isn’t gunning for Vienna on the show. Perhaps he should have been. Because apparently his love is a horribly tough thing to get over–or Vienna just wants to use that to her advantage to win $250,000.

We’ve already seen teases of “Bachelor Pad 2″ and Vienna talking about dumping her new boyfriend over the money. I think what’s next to come on “Bachelor Pad 2″ could further concrete our viewpoint of Vienna for years to come. The fortunate thing for Vienna is that “the Villain Card” is vey marketable these days. People always remember the most flamboyant or hated people because they cause the most waves. You know what they say-any publicity is good publicity. One thing is for sure-if she moves on and forgives Jake then the drama no longer exists and her chance at “Bachelor Pad” infamy might just quickly dissolve. So maybe her strategy is to milk it for all its worth. Maybe she’s just an actor.
Either way, she’s certainly not likable at this point on “Bachelor Pad 2.”
