A Bad Weekend

Well I spent the whole weekend
In just one night
Got drunk at the bar
Then into a fight
Now my eye’s swollen shut
It’s all black and blue
My head is pounding
But that’s nothing new
I’ll just take some asprin
Go back to bed
When I get up
We’ll paint the town red
I promise to show you
A real good time
I will make it all up
It’s on my dime
Don’t worry about me
I’ve done this before
Some sleeps all I need
