Wacom Bamboo Fun Pen & Touch

The Wacom Bamboo Fun Pen & Touch is the largest tablet in the Bamboo line. It has a pen and multitouch surface with an active touch area of 7.5″x5.1″ and an active pen area of 8.5″x5.4″. The tablet is meant to be used for drawing, sketching, brush strokes and editing photos. It is pressure sensitive, so the harder you press, the thicker the pen lines or brush strokes will be. The multi-touch surface can be used to navigate, scroll, and work using simple gestures. If you want, you can use the pen or your finger to move the mouse as you navigate the desktop. Using multiple fingers performs tasks such as moving forward or backward in a browser, highlighting text, or scrolling up and down on a page. The Bamboo Fun tablet attaches to the USB port of a computer and is compatible with PC or Mac, desktops and laptops. It can be mapped to secondary displays so you can do work on one page and edit photos or create your own art on the second monitor. It is reversible for left and right-handed users, and has four ExpressKeys which act as shortcuts that let you easily execute commonly used tasks. It weighs one pound, and is intended to be portable so you can carry it between home and work, or to a friends house.

Besides the tablet, pen, quick start guide and installation CD, there are a lot of full versions of software and offers for free products which come with it. The Wacom Bamboo Fun Pen & Touch tablet comes with a full version of Adobe Photoshop Elements, Corel Painter Essentials, and Nik Color Efex Pro 3.0 WE3. It also comes with an offer for a free Shutterfly photo album, and a free online store through CafePress. The software is compatible with Windows 7, XP, and Vista. If you have a Mac it is compatible with Mac OS X 10.4.8 or higher.
