I used to play the clarinet and I tried the sax and flute,
I oom-pahed with the tuba and even bought a lute.
But the drums confused my little hands and I never learned to play
The violin or banjo as the strings got in my way.
I still love music even though my playing days are through,
I listen, I sing, and dance a bit and still read music, too.
Notes and tones run through my head and beats run through my mind,
The simple joy of music is simply wonderful to find.
