Spring Training 2012: Hotels in Jupiter, Florida

Are you planning on getting a hotel in Jupiter, Florida to watch some spring training baseball?

The Miami Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals play their spring training games in Jupiter, Florida at Roger Dean Stadium. Ticket prices for the games range from $14 to $31. There are several hotels and resorts in the area. Here are the three best hotel selections for watching spring training baseball and enjoying Jupiter, Fla.:

Homewood Suites by Hilton Palm Beach Gardens: Homewood Suites by Hilton Palm Beach Gardens is a 3 star resort that is located less than one mile from Roger Dean Stadium. The hotel offers rooms that are within walking distance of a drug store, restaurants and groceries. This hotel offers rooms with fully equipped kitchens complete with a microwave, a dishwasher, and a stove. The rooms include Flat screen TV’s, high speed internet, complimentary breakfast, and an outdoor pool. The Homewood Suites will cost about $184 per night for a 7 night stay in March. I chose the Homewood Suites for their close proximity to Roger Dean Stadium and the recommendation of the St. Louis Cardinals.

Jupiter Beach Resort: The Jupiter Beach Resort is a 4 star property located 4 miles away from Roger Dean Stadium. Maybe you aren’t a starting pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, but you can throw of the first pitch for staying at the Jupiter Beach Resort. The resort is offering a special spring training package that gives you a tour of the Cardinals Clubhouse; allows you to watch batting practice on the field; you can also throw out the ceremonial first pitch; Not only that but two children can sit pregame in the dug out. This package will cost $539 per night, but it will be a once in a lifetime experience. Back at the hotel enjoy 1000 feet of pristine ocean beach, a heated pool and water fall spa, the tennis court, a fitness area, their restaurant and lounge, and live music at the pool side bar. The Jupiter Beach Resort made our list for its incredible spring training package and ocean front views.

PGA National Resort and Spa, Palm Beach Gardens: The PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens is another resort that was recommended by the St. Louis Cardinals. This hotel comes with five tournament ready golf courses designed by Jack Nickaus and Arnold Palmer. PGA National Resort includes a 40,000 square foot spa, spacious rooms with flat screen TVs, mini fridge, high speed internet and a private balcony. A 7 night stay at this resort will cost $279 a night in March. It is located less than five miles from Roger Dean Stadium.
