Parent’s Choice Diapers Review

I ran out of diapers for my son and had to make a trip to Wal-Mart. I have been buying Parent’s Choice Diapers since my son came home from the hospital. I have tried most brands of diapers and find these to be one of the best quality store brands of diapers on the market.

When my son was a newborn I experimented with different brands like Pampers, Huggies and Luvs but did not find these brands to be any better despite the higher cost. My son was a big baby at almost nine pounds so the newborn sizes did not fit him; I had to start him out one size 1 diapers.

Features:
Elastic leg and waistbands to stop leaks
Cloth-like material on the outside
Absorbent, good for overnights

Price: $13.97 for box of 82 ct. size 4 diapers (.17 cents each) In comparison, Huggies brands are .24 cents each for size 4, Pampers are .22 cents and Luvs are .20 cents each. I know this does not sound like a big difference but the box sizes vary between 156 and 204 count diapers for the name brands. The total cost, however, is where the difference comes in. The Parent’s Choice Diapers are a better value even in multiple boxes to equal diaper count of the other brands. At $40 for 156-204 diapers, you get 3 boxes of Parent’s Choice Diapers for $41.91

I like the fact that I can buy these diapers and not feel like I’m buying the cheap brand. They work just as well as Luvs and Huggies. I bought both brands recently when the store ran out of my size 4 diapers. I purchased one box of Parent’s Choice and one box of Luvs that were on sale for $16.95. The store brand diapers held up to the same high-quality as the Luvs. In fact, my little boy used more of the Luvs diapers than the store brand (meaning he wet through the Luvs faster).

When babies are newborns you can use any diaper because at this age they do not wet or poop much. In the beginning it is the frequency not the amount of dirty or wet diapers. As a baby gets older, between 6 and 9 months, the lighter-weight diapers just do not work as well with babies who drink 4 to 6 ounce bottles of formula and juice.

There is not really anything I dislike about this product except that they do not come in larger quantities. The largest box or bag is 100 count for size 1 diapers. I would recommend these diapers to anyone who wants a good quality diaper for less money.
