We hear or have read constantly about Berry Gordy having royalties disagreement, with Jackie Wilson’ management. Which is strange that his very own artists later on question’s theirs with his company. Which might, in my opinion have came about, from his International Management, in house management firm. Which was mainly operated, by his family members. Who main loyalty woud be to the founder, of Motown?

Visit or research, how many Gordys was managers, of Motown’s artists. Then you see the point of people as they become successful wondering about their money. Truth beknown about Smokey Robinson, is in the fact of my opinion’s that he might not have a good accountant of all his royalties. But, he falls into , what many has stated, the “Gordy Innner Circle” that darn to challenge the mouth that supplied your riches.

Now, if it wasn’t for Berry Gordy and Barney Ales, the white side guy of Motown’s wordly success. All the famos producers wouldn’t be more known across the universe. While people toss accolades upon Berry Gordy the main pusher or promotion was Mr. Barney Ales. Who many fails to want to acknowledge had more inner connections, in the business than Gordy? And, if sexual harrassment was the norm in the sixties, many artists might have sued he company for all the alleged affairs, of in house comraderies.
