Make a Direct Mail Newsletter for Your Club

Do you have a club like the Orchid Society? If you are not doing it yet, you might like to make direct mail newsletters to distribute to your members. Newsletter mailing is actually an easy thing to do.

After all, you already have the mailing addresses of your members. If you are going to mail out your newsletters to your members, you can send them in a short brown envelope or folded into 1/3 size so that you can insert it in a regular letter envelope. If you are going to use the first option, then expect to pay more for the postal fees because of the big envelope size. At least you will not have a problem with folding. If you are going to fold the newsletter, you have to make sure that the photos do not fall on the folds so that the members’ faces are not distorted. The members will have to unfold and flatten the material before reading but then that is the only way that you could save money for the club. Direct mail newsletters are great tools for your members to be updated about what is the latest in the club. It is not a difficult endeavor and will surely help build up the club and its members.
