Lukas Sharp Announced as 7th Competitor in 6th Annual Kowalski Cup Tournament

Lukas Sharp has 99 problems, but wrestling isn’t one. The Connecticut native has been announced as the 7th competitor in Top Rope Promotions 6th Annual Kowalski Cup Tournament. The event takes place on October 7th 2011. The Police Athletic League in Fall River, Massachusetts will play host to the tournament.

Lukas Sharp is one of the most innovative wrestlers in Top Rope Promotions. He has commonly introduced the Fall River Faithful to an authentic wrestling style. The wrestling moves that Lukas Sharp employ are non-traditional. It’s a high risk crash and burn style. Sometimes the moves pay off. Other times, the ending is not too pleasant. Regardless, it’s always exciting and a pure spectacle.

Lukas has spent the better part of the last year in tag team competition as one half of the tag team The Social Networkrz. Along with Shane Alden, the two competed in Top Rope Promotions Tag Team Title Tournament on January 1st 2011. They made it to the finals of the tournament by defeating Eric Alden & Scott Reed and Le Republique. Unfortunately, the partners lost to The Freakshow in the finals. Notwithstanding, it takes a lot of hard work and determination to make it to the finals of any tournament. And that is especially true for The 6th Annual Kowalski Cup Tournament.

The 6’1 athlete made his pro wrestling debut in 2007. Since then, he has wrestled all over New England. This includes promotions like Power & Glory Wrestling and CTWE. His charisma goes beyond the world of wrestling. When Lukas Sharp is not wrestling, you can find him on the studio stages of television shows and movies. The aspiring young star can be seen on several television programs. However, he remains adamant that his main focus is the success of his professional wrestling career.

Lukas Sharp may be the underdog in the 2011 Kowalski Cup. Between his risky wrestling style and lack of main event matches, he seems to be at a disadvantage. But that’s what makes the Kowalski Cup great. It includes some of the top wrestlers in the region, but also includes guys like Lukas Sharp, who may not have been given the chance to rise to the top. This is Lukas Sharp’s chance to prove that he is among New England’s finest.

Chance of Winning: Although the odds seemed stacked against Lukas Sharp, there is a chance he may come out on top. Fans love a good ‘come from behind’ success story. And it’s amazing when you realize how often the underdogs truly do rise to the occasion. This could be one of those times.
