Love The Days
I love it when the days are short.
Its less time that I am
away from you.
I love it when the days are long.
Its more time that I
get to grow old with you.
I love the days in-between
when summers born
from spring.
I love the long nights
with you.
Watching snow
sparkling off the moon.
I love the new year
because I know
it’ll all begin again.
But what I love
most of all
is-
When all that
waits for us
because all we ever get around to
is us.
