The 14th Annual Monster Massive
This year it will be on October 29th and tickets are on sale now. This is a dance and music festival, but it is also geared towards Halloween with haunted displays, a house of horror and other spooky activities. Enjoy the Worlds Four Time best DJ Armin van Buuren. Located at the Los Angeles Sports Arena on South Figueroa.
Knotts Berry Farm Haunt
A family favorite, this year Halloween starts September 23rd on weekends through October 31st, with some week day hours as well in October. With mazes, scare zones, and monster shows, this is a Halloween event for those, young and old, who love this time of year. You can also just use their regular rides as well. Knott’s Berry Farm is about a half an hour south and east of Los Angeles in Buena Park.
Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights
Scare zones, scary mazes, rides, a house of corpses, a terror tram and so much more, this venue is not for the feeble or those scared easily. Not appropriate for young children. The venue opens September 23rd on weekends until October 31st. Tickets start at $37. Located at Universal Studios Hollywood in Universal City in Los Angeles.
Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch
From October 8th through October 31st, enjoy all sorts of activities, that can change day to day, such as finding pumpkins, fall decor and Halloween goodies to going to the petting zoo, taking a pony ride or going through the straw maze, just to name a few! This is a great family and kid friendly venue. Located in West Hollywood on Doheny.
The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor
October 1 – 31
With mazes and plenty of scare tactics, this is a fun way to spend October and/or Halloween. Once you get though a scary maze, there will be food and drink as your prize. Tickets start at $20 depending on what you choose to do such as the Happy Haunted Tour or a VIP pass which includes more than one tour and a gift. They claim there are 45000 scares per hour!!! Muhahahaha!
