“Dancing with the Stars” has only been off the air a few weeks, and already there are rumors swirling about contestants for Season 14. The true contestants will likely be revealed during “The Bachelor” season finale sometime in March. Until then, everything is purely speculation. Some of the celebrities being talked about aren’t a big stretch, while other names seem to have been pulled from thin air. These are some of the names being tossed around, and which ones are definite possibilities for the next season.
Kris Jenner
Just what ABC needs, another Kardashian on the dance floor. This would not be shocking, especially since Kris attended all of Rob’s performances. Competition in the family is something they all enjoy. It would be interesting to see their mom get up there and shake her booty. Lately it seems the Kardashian clan is doing whatever they can to divert attention from Kim’s divorce, and this would definitely be a positive for the family.
Pee-wee Herman
If he is really going to be on the show, there will be major controversy. “Dancing with the Stars” is still being dubbed a family show, and Pee-wee is not really “family” material anymore. Parents will be outraged. There will be a slew of outcries such as with the casting of Chaz Bono. It seems that is what the casting directors want, and it certainly seems to be something that drives the ratings up. If this is indeed true, it will be interesting to see what happens.
Taylor Armstrong
If you haven’t heard of her, you have probably heard her story. She is from the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” and her husband killed himself earlier this year. She has done numerous appearances on morning talk shows to talk about him and the incident. It seems like she would do anything to make a few extra bucks in order to keep her lavish lifestyle going, so doing this show is not out of the question. Without a huge fan base, her chances of making it very far are slim. Armstrong would have a hard time winning the fans over.
Perez Hilton
The gossip guy may be headed to the dance floor. Hilton would definitely be fun to watch on the show, much like Season 13’s Carson Kressley. Each season there has to be someone who is over the top and willing to take risks, and Hilton could definitely be that person for Season 14. If he does decide to take on the task, there is little doubt he will make it far.
Over the course of the next few months, there will be many rumors and denials as far as casting for the show goes. Right now, these are very preliminary names. These four will most likely not appear on the show, but some of them would be excellent choices if given the chance.
