Chuck E. Cheese’s – Where a Parent Can Please Their Kid!

According to chuckecheese.com, Chuck E. Cheese’s has over 500 entertainment centers in 48 states and 6 countries and after spending over two hours in this kids heaven on earth, I’m starting to wonder why they do not have more. Now I must say that I have visited Chuck E. Cheese’s in my day, but I can’t recall ever feeling half the excitement that I saw on my son’s face at his birthday party. You can tell when a person is truly happy when they have a joker smile plastered on their face up until it’s time for them to go to bed.

First of all let me say that we went to the Hempstead New York Location, which is pretty large. The place was full to capacity with screaming kids as old as seventeen all enjoying the video games, the rides and the adrenaline rush you feel when you are trying to get 5000 tickets for that prize you’ve had your eye on.

We walked to the back of the building to the birthday party section where we were escorted to our little table. There are two packages you can get, the star package at $15.99 a child and that is not including tax or the super star package at $20.99. If you have a little money and just can afford to spoil your kid I would definitely upgrade to the Super Star package which gives you additional tokens per child, a balloon per child and the Chuck E cup per child along with an extra bonus of 500 tickets for the Birthday child. Remember that the packages do not include food for the adults so if you are particularly friendly, you will also have to order additional food and drinks.

Now, let me tell you a little bit about the overall experience! You are given your own hostess who caters to your kid every need. The birthday boy or girl is given a crown and a medallion! How awesome is that! Chuck E. is personally escorted over to you to say Happy Birthday and give you hugs. You get a cool Chuck E. Cheese balloon that sits in the middle of your table. The birthday kid gets to go into the ticket blaster which is a lot of fun with tickets blowing all around you and not to mention you get to wear goggles. My son came out with the large tickets worth 300 tickets. All in all, your child is sure to have a blast with all the excitement going on!

Be sure to stay close to your child no matter which Chuck E. Cheese’s you plan to attend, because there are a hundred kids running around and yours could surely get lost in the crowd. It’s been years since I was a kid, but even though I am a parent I simply had a ball just being with my son, winning him tickets, playing skee ball with him and taking pictures of him 10 feet in the air in the play gym. I simply enjoyed myself because he enjoyed himself! I think Chuck E. Cheese’s is a great place for kids but a better place for parents, because you get to make your child the happiest kid in the world, if just for two hours!
