What does the word inspiration mean? According to Dictionary.com, inspiration is inspiring or animation action or influence, it also means that a thing or a person can inspire us. The person that should inspire all of us is God. The following article will be about some of my inspirational Bible verses.
The first verse is John 3:16, For God so loves the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (NKJV). Did you know that God loved us so much that He sent his Son to earth to die for our sins. Also, if we put our faith and trust in Jesus we will have everlasting life.
The second verse is Psalm 119:105, Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path (NKJV). Think about it, if you wanted to take a trip how would you get there? Would you use a map or gps or would you just drive around? The Bible is a road map for life. Just like going on a trip, if you don’t use map, you could get lost. If you are a Christian and you follow the Bible, your life will work out according to God’s plan. Remember if you are a Christian, your life is in God’s hands.
The third verse is Proverbs 30:5, Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him (NKJV). The Bible was written by God through his chosen people. Since God wrote the Bible, the Bible is free from human intervention and human rules. The Bible also says that God is a shield to those that put their trust in Him. If you believe in God, then you have the shield of God to protect you from life’s trouble. Please do not think that God will take care of your every problem, but He will ultimately protect you in the end.
The forth set of verses is Psalm 27:1-3, (1) The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? (2) When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and foes, they stumbled and fell. (3) Though an army may encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident. There is a question in verse one, the question is if the Lord is the light of your life who should you fear in life? If a person is saved they should never fear another person or a situation in life. There is a statement in verse three, if wars or an army encamp me, my heart shall not fear. What does encamp mean? According to Dictionary.com, encamp means to settle or lodge in a camp. When people surround you to try to change your thinking, don’t let them. When people surround you and tell you that you are wrong for standing for the Bible, don’t let them. Remember when you have the Holy Father on your side, the One that made the Heavens and the earth, you have nothing to fear.
The fifth verse is Revelation 22:20, He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” God has been true to His Word since the beginning of time. This verse should be a comfort to all Christians in the world. When the Bible says, “Surely I am coming quickly” that is God talking because it is written in red letters. When God says He will do something, He will do it.
Remember that God loves you and me and that is why He sent his only Son down to the earth to die for our sins. That is why He gave us the Bible, the road map for life. Even in the times that we are living in, He still loves us and cares for us.
