Sofia Vergara has been ranked as the most desirable woman on AskMen’s 11th Annual ” Top 99 Most Desirable Women ” list. More than one million votes were cast by the lifestyle website for men’s readers, who voted for women with edge and unconventional beauty.
Of leading the list, the “Modern Family” star said “I am so honored to be AskMen’s most desired woman this year. A big thank you to all the men who desire me.”
For the second year in a row, television actresses have dominated the list. Such television stars include Blake Lively, Zooey Deschanel, Lea Michele, Dianna Aron, Nicole Scherzinger, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian and Kat Dennings.
A new generation of leading women also made the “Top 99 Most Desirable Women” list, including Adele, tennis star Caroline Wozniacki, Stacy Keibler and Pippa Middleton. James Bassil, the editor-in-chief of AskMen, said “With more than a third of the women on this year’s list being first time honorees, it is clear that men are intrigued by women who are new on the scene. The 2012 Top 99 Most Desirable Women are an eclectic group-which explains the wide range in what today’s man finds appealing.”
Since the “Top 99 Most Desirable Women” launched in 2001, the list has showed which female stars AskMen readers favor the most. They base their votes on the attributes they want in a companion, such as intelligence, talent, character and beauty.
