I love many Lean Cuisine brand frozen dinners. Recently, I spotted Lean Cuisine Grilled Chicken & Penne Pasta in the frozen dinners section of my local favorite grocery store. This dinner for one looked very good! I decided to purchase it, try it and write a product review all about my experience with it. Here is what I discovered!

Lean Cuisine Grilled Chicken & Penne Pasta costs a bit over three dollars. I discovered that this meal had a dessert in it and I liked that. The main entree has penne pasta, white meat chicken, broccoli, tomatoes, carrots, parmesan and asiago cheeses, all in a herb garlic sauce. The dessert is a caramel apple dessert. This meal is low in fat, low cal, vitamin rich and has lots of fiber in it. It is part of the Lean Cuisine dinnertime selects line. I could not wait to taste it!

This frozen dinner is perfect for microwave cooking and that is how I chose to prepare it. I cooked it on high for four minutes, uncovered, stirred, re covered and continued cooking on high for three more minutes. I let this meal stand for two minutes before uncovering and serving. This dinner smelled great and looked fantastic! When I tasted the main entree, I loved it. It has lots of juicy chicken, tender pasta and fresh tasting veggies in it. The garlic herb sauce is very good. The apple caramel dessert was nice and tasty. This is a filling low cal diet friendly dinner. It is ready in a jiffy and it saves me time spent in the kitchen. It makes a good healthy full meal choice.
