Why do I feel like my life falling apart? Is there any hope for me?
Q: My so called friend asked me not to come to their birthday party because someone does not like me. The person never took the time to get to know me. A girl I like just called about advice about dating someone new. She knows I like her too. My best friend who is my first love did a 180 on me. she went from wanting to date me to I do not know what. My other friends tell me I am a sweet and caring man and any woman would be lucky to have me. I am confused right now and wish I knew what I am doing wrong. Just wish to be happy and meet someone special. Maybe get married and have a family. I feel like my life is falling apart and I have no control over my destiny at all. I am going to college to get my B.S. in Business and I work for a computer company as an engineer. I feel so lonely lately and empty. I wonder if there is anyone or anything in life or am I destiny to be alone. forgotten? I am 35 now and afraid to be alone the rest of my life. I do not know what to do anymore. advice please
A: It seems you have had a string of bad situations. There are many options for you depending on your answers to certain questions. 1. If you feel like doing yourself or someone else harm and have made plans to do so, go to an emergency room and discuss this with people there. 2. If you feel like you can’t return to feeling neutral about yourself and maybe good about yourself, you may consider counseling. 3. If none of the above, you could try some new approaches. First, give up temporarily on finding someone. Sometimes things happen easier when you aren’t trying. Work on making you feel better about you. Who will be attracted to you if you don’t like yourself. Afterall, you know yourself better than anyone else. If you are worthy of someone’s attention, you will like yourself. You feeling good about yourself, not arrogant or conceited, but self assured, you give off a feeling to others that you are worth knowing and getting to know. Work on yourself first. If nothing comes along when you near the end of the process of getting to like yourself more, then when you start to seek a relationship again, you will be more attractive having confidence. When you seek someone to get to know, look in places you don’t think of as ‘places to meet women’ Ask your married friends, or family how they met. Put yourself in those situations. Go to continuing education classes. Trade shows in your industry. You will find people that know the personality types in the business and/or computer industry. They will be more compatible. Consider Craigslist or other online personality matching databases/services. eHarmony. The best thing you can do is have your house in order before you look for someone. Get the emotions about the string of bad luck you’ve had processed out. When you find someone, you can share about how tough a time it was and how you strengthened up and overcame the setbacks. How you feel good about yourself for accomplishing that. This will be quite attractive. Good Luck.
why do i feel like my life is falling apart?
Q: Everything in my life was going so smoothly, then three different seniors from a prestigious organization i volunteer for contact me about a parking pass that i thought i was allowed to use (police are involved-though I am not in any legal trouble). I feel sick about it, even though I didn’t mean to do anything wrong and I am not the only one in the organization who thought that it was for the organization’s general use as opposed to specified use. I don’t try to cheat the system and I consider myself very cautious when working under them.I can hardly concentrate at school or work. Am I that weak or just hormonal? How can I forget about this and just go on with my weekly routine without huge distraction/distruption?Maybe it’s because I feel so misrepresented.
A: Sweetie, Everyone messes up sooner or later. You didn’t mess up though you were misinformed about the parking pass. So you didn’t know the limitations on it. Cheer up & brush it off, you did nothing wrong! The R3al D3al
What do you do when you feel like your whole life is falling apart and nothing can make it better?
Q: What do you do when you feel like your whole life is falling apart and nothing can make it better?]=when you feel your life is falling apart and you feel like nothing can make it better you get mean, bitter, angry, sad, lazy, sleepy, worthless, and thats how i am right now ]= please somebody help me before i pull this trigger on this gun
A: i have had these feelings on and off for the last 5yrs now.. i’ve found though that the severity of these feelings is sometimes really bad and other times not so bad. the only thing i have done is sit down and assess everything that makes me happy, and everything that makes me feel all messed up. then i work out if i can cut out of my life the things that make me feel bad (eg. a toxic friend, or excess drinking etc), and if i can cut it out of my life i work on doing that, or just reduce the contact i have with the problems.it isn’t easy and it doesn’t go away. a friend of mine has been on anti-depressants for about 20yrs now, and she thinks it will help me but they don’t really help me, but everyone is different and it is an option you might want to look at? talking to some-one, like a councilor, also helps sometimes too. if you need any other help or advice, please don’t hesitate to contact me!
