What does it mean when I have a dream every night about my boyfriend cheating on me?
Q: Every night for the past week I’ve been having a dream (or nightmare rather) where my boyfriend has been cheating on me with different girls. I know there are some books that explain why your having certain dreams, like it’s some pshycological thing. And I was just wondering if anyone knew what it meant or if anyone had a book that told what it meant. I know my dream is not trying to tell me something, or hint anything to me, because I dont believe in that witch craft, voodoo, or mythological sorta stuff. I just heard it is pshycological.
A: it really depends on how the dream makes you feel. during the dream are you nervous or scared, or confident that this could never happen? did you have a bad feeling you were going to find him cheating? from what you put here, it sounds to me that you are scared your bf is going to cheat on you. i don’t know if this is a rational fear, that depends on his history and your trust in him.
Is it true that you dream every night? and how do dreams work?
Q: I heard that you dream every single night. Is this true? I don’t think it is because I can do this wierd thing where I can tell if I’m dreaming. How do dreams work? How do you create these images while your asleep just inside your brain?
A: Yes you do dream every night, I was told by a psychology professor dreams are the mind’s tool for logging short term memories into your long term memory. I am not sure how to control dreams, I have noticed that in some of my dreams people or things I know from the present can be placed in the settings from the past or just the opposite, which I would believe supports the memory idea.
