What Happened to the Denver Broncos?

After the 2008 season the troubles began for the Denver Broncos. After an 8-8 season they decided to fire head coach Mike Shanahan after 14 years of being the headcoach of the Denver Broncos. Soon after they hired Josh McDaniels as the Broncos next head coach. Josh McDaniels started to tear apart the Denver Broncos by trading away our great players. Was Josh McDaniels even thinking?

Before the 2009 season McDaniels traded away Brandon Marshall to the Miami Dolphins, Jay Cutler to the Bears and Peyton Hillis to the Browns and Tony Scheffler to the Lions. How was trading away all our good players suppose to improve out team? Jay Cutler wanted out of Denver because McDaniels was wanting to get Matt Cassell from the Patriots and Cutler believed that McDaniels didn’t believe in him. I don’t blame Cutler for wanting out of Denver cause why play for a team that can’t support you as their quarterback? McDaniels knew what he was doing was wrong.

This is what I believe will help Denver get back on track and winning football games again. They need to fix there O-line and get a young running back to pound the football up the center. Tim Tebow showed some promise against the Raiders in Week 9 but with him running the football more than passing what does this mean to the wide recievers in Denver? When will they start complaining about not getting the football more? They need a quarterback who can throw more passes down the field.

I would give head coach John Fox another year or 2 to prove himself and if he fails than fire him. I believe if Denver can go at least 7-9 than Fox may still have his job next season but if he fails than you best believe John Fox may be walking out the door. I believe after week 17 is over and the dust settles Denver should know if they should keep John Fox as the Head Coach and Tim Tebow as the starting quarterback. Only time will tell.
