Vegan Tofu and Tempeh Burritos

If you are looking for a quick and easy vegan-friendly meal, these tofu and tempeh burritos are perfect. They take less than five minutes to prepare and less than five minutes to cook. You can add tomatoes, peppers, sprouts or any vegetables you want to add more variety and flavor to the recipe. I like to add vegan cheddar or mozzarella to mine as well when I prepare these.

Ingredients:

1 package firm tofu
1 package five grain tempeh
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon Mexican seasoning
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1. Crumble the tofu and tempeh together in a mixing bowl.
2. Add all of the seasonings and mix together to make sure the tofu and tempeh are evenly seasoned.
3. Pour the tofu and tempeh into a non-stick skillet. Cook on medium high for about five minutes just to brown them. You will need to stir the ingredients once or twice to ensure they do not burn.
4. Spoon the mixture and any other fillings you wish to add onto a tortilla and roll the tortilla into a burrito.
