PRELIMINARY CARD (Spike TV) Don’t miss the live preliminary card on Spike TV, both matches should be entertaining and fun. Spencer Fisher and Dan Miller are always entertaining.

Spencer Fisher vs. Thiago Tavares Dan Miller vs. Rousimar Palhares

MAIN CARD (Pay-per-view)

Champ Anderson Silva vs. Yushin Okami (for middleweight title) Okami is a great MMA fighter from Japan, he deserves a shot at the title. Anderson Silva is the best fighter the UFC has to offer. He will win this fight. Okami will do the same thing as other MMA fighters and do his best to beat Anderson Silva. Anderson Silva will use his talent to school Okami and retain the UFC middleweight title. Okami will make up to the reality that Anderson Silva is the better fighter. Forrest Griffin vs. Mauricio “Shogun” Rua-Rua has all the advantages for this rematch against Forrest Griffin. He is at home in front of his fans and he wants to avenge his loss to Griffin. This is a tough fight to pick. I believe Griffin is tough and this fight may turn out to be a war, the best man standing wins. I don’t usually go with my heart, but this time I will. I look for Forrest Griffin to pull this one out because he is a tough MMA fighter. Don’t be surprised to find Griffin on the mat looking at stars. Too close to pick, my heart chooses Griffin, my mind chooses Shogun. Regardless, a ton of punches will be thrown in this exciting match. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Brendan Schaub-we have youth vs. experience in this match. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira is at home and the fans will be cheering for him. Brendan Schaub in on a roll and he does wants a shot at the championship. If he beats Nogueira, he moves one ring up the ladder. Is he good enough to beat Nogueira? This is another good reason to watch UFC 134. Pick Scaub to be another ring on the belt of Nogueira or choose Schaub to get another knockout of the night. I choose Schaub because I believe power and size will be too much for Nogueira. If you bet on fights, I would not bet on this one. Edson Barboza vs. Ross Pearson-Edson Barboza is unbeaten, but he has fought lesser known opponents. Ross Pearson is a step up for the Brazilian fighter. Pearson should win this fight, but most of us know nothing about the Brazilian Edson Barboza because he is new to the UFC. Expect an exciting fight between two of the lighter weight fighters in the UFC. Luiz Cane vs. Stanislav Nedkov-I call this a filler fight. There are two fighters who I know nothing about. They both have a little experience in the UFC, but are not fighters I have followed. I can only hope this fight surprised me and is exciting. I have no idea who will win this fight

UFC 134 should be a good night of fights. The UFC gives us a treat on Spike TV by showing us Spencer Fisher in one fight and Dan Miller in another. These two fighters may be in a main event again in the future. The PPV matchups are interesting. The UFC based their PPV on the top three fights with two filler fights. Anderson Silva is always exciting and expect no less from the champion on Saturday night. Forrest Griffin vs. Shogun should be an excellent rematch where two great UFC fighters try to knock each other’s heads off. The third exciting fight features the young/exciting up and coming fighter Brendan Schaub against the older and more experienced Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. Both fighters are exciting and are ready to go to war. I will be watching the fights and writing about them Saturday night. Don’t miss UFC 134, it will be fun and entertaining. The question everybody is asking will be answered tonight, will Anderson Silva ever be beaten in the UFC?
