Tyler is a thriving town located in Deep East Texas between Dallas and Shreveport, La off of Interstate 20. Tyler is a town known for its family and community values, sound education system, and growing commerce. Tyler is a great town to raise a family in, there you will find small town values with quick and convenient access to big city life.

Some of the best times of year to visit Tyler is during March to April and October to November. Being located in Texas, Tyler often experiences very hot summers and over the last few years some cold winters. Tyler is nicknamed “The Rose Capital” of the Nation, this is due to the large quantity of rose bushes that can be found all throughout the area. The city is also the home of the largest rose garden in the nation. Every year Tyler host The Texas Rose Festival which draws thousands of tourist to the area each and every October to view and enjoy over 500 different variety of roses. Another popular attraction that Tyler host is the East Texas State Fair which offers rides, games, and entertainment for the whole family.

Tyler TX provides an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors with its many parks and scenic campgrounds, but it also provides culture through its Broadway, symphony concerts, and ballet performances. Depending on the time of year an individual and/or family can find many things to do. Children may take particular interest in the Caldwell Zoo, Fire Mountain Amusement Part, Discovery Science Place and Hudnall Planetarium.

Tyler has over 32 hotel and motels not counting bed and breakfasts for families to rest and relax at for a weekend getaway or even relocation. A person sure will not go hungry in the City of Tyler. Tyler houses most of the popular fast food chains and restaurant chains. But if you are looking for something more unique the City has many casual and fine dining eateries that are unique to this area alone.

Tyler is home to Tyler Pounds Regional Airport which provides many connecting flights to major airports in Dallas/Ft Worth and Houston areas.
