The Unknown!

Justin was about seven years old; he had been having a rough time in school. Justin was the fourth of six children but his mother and he lived alone. Mom worked two jobs and attended school; while his mom went to school on Thursday nights Justin would be watched by the next door neighbor. Linda was the babysitter, an old polish woman with awkward habits. Things were normal for awhile as Justin would arrive home hours before his mother. He would immediately go to Linda’s house after school. The routine was homework, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, then it was dinner; Justin always felt uneasy but at the same time he would feel relieved to be in the company of this woman. Every night, after jeopardy Justin ate dinner and was escorted next door to his bedroom. Waiting for his mother to come home which was late at night, he would fall asleep doing so. Eager to see his mother Justin made up in his mind the next night he would stay up. Everything went well, school was great, Linda fed him good, and justin was prepared for the task. Little did he account the things that took place late at night. After taking his bath and getting ready for school, Linda left out and went back to her place, left alone Justin had not realized how hard it was to stay up as well as stay alone. On this particular night Justin laid in his bed anticipating seeing his mommy. But something happened! There was a bump in his closet. The street light that always seemed to glow bright in his window seemed to have given out. Pitch black more noises began to come from inside the closet. Mom still had not come home and Justin was becoming worried. Knowing he was the only in the room he knew there was something wrong. Shadows walked the walls. Shapes of Beings evolved into Giants. Jumping from wall to wall Justin was sorely afraid. As he clinched the covers and hid his face he peeked out of a corner of his blanket hoping they would disappear. Voices arose. More and more Justin heard the conversations of an unknown tongue. He could not make out what the fuss was about but he knew they meant no good. As Justin held on to dear life, stunned so much so that he did not move. Or could he move? In a trance he steadily observed these shadows, praying that they would not notice him, they became louder. As Justin laid there he saw these beings were active, moving, and talking amongst others but he wondered did they know he was laying there. Still waiting for his mother, Justin was too afraid to get out of the bed as he thought they would grab him. Justin decided that he would run as fast as he could to the front door, but the only thing… he couldn’t! numb as a if he had been given a sedative he tried and he tried but just could not move. As Justin laid there he closed his eyes hoping he would just imagine the moment fading away but it never ended! The beings continued to jump from wall to wall or maybe they moved between dimensions! As he closed his eyes he realized there was a heavy weight at the foot of his bed. Shocked, Justin made an attempt to run but he couldn’t, he felt the weight become heavier and heavier, there was nothing he could do! The talking had stopped and there was a complete silence. No movement! Justin thought everything was okay, as he relaxed a little bit; he felt the weight still pressing against his stomach and chest. As he closed his eyes, Wham! Ringing in his ears and a strong sensation on his left side, Justin realized he had been slapped right out of the bed. As he got up he looked around and everything was motionless. Justin quickly gathered himself off the floor and ran into his mother’s room. He crawled into her bed; comfortable he saw his mother lying next to him, But was it her?
