The True Church Revealed!

As long as I can remember people have always asked the same question. What makes you think your church is the true church? My answer has remained the same throughout the years, and it comes from ascertaining the true meaning of the church.

Recent times have brought about a shift in the way church leaders bring in new members. Declining memberships have caused most church organizations to rethink their stand on various issues. With social attitudes and moral standards changing, some churches seek to interpret the Bible in a different manner than in the past. Not so long ago, all churches rejected the Christian aspects of same sex marriage, and interracial relationships. Today there is wide interpretation amongst the various churches on how to deal with these and other social issues.

There is no reason for this confusion to arise within the churches. KJV (Matthew 5:18) tells the truth on the matter. It reads, For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. This one little verse tells us everything we need to know. God has not changed the law. As it was in the beginning, it remains until Christ returns. The leaders of various churches that seek to change law for the sake of profit are at odds with God.

The rank and file, caught in the middle of controversy, are left in doubt wondering which way to turn. In their heart, they seek to follow God, yet they have no desire to find a different church after years of loyalty. They reason that no church is perfect, so why bother.

As we see in the message to the seven churches found in Revelation, God finds fault with all the churches, for none are perfect. This fact can lead to only one logical conclusion. God has people in all the churches. Whatever church is attended, so long as God’s laws are kept by the individual, you are a member of the true church. The true church simply means God’s people. We are told that God is a good God, compassionate, loving, and faithful. Being such, he would surely not condemn his own children, no matter what building they attend in his name.
