The Top Ten Queen Songs of All Time

Since 1971, the British rock band Queen has produced hit song after hit song. Queen has had 18 number one songs across 18 albums. Here are my Top Ten Queen Songs of All Time.

Top Ten Queen Song #10: Radio Ga Ga (1984) With a deep beat and distinctive chorus, Radio Ga Ga is one of Queen’s most popular songs. In 2007, the CPDRC Philippine inmates choreographed a dance routine to it. The video went viral. Pop star Lady Ga Ga derived her name from Radio Ga Ga.

Top Ten Queen Song #9: Killer Queen (1974) – This upbeat song is one of the more recognizable Queen hits. The video currently has over 11 million hits on YouTube.

Top Ten Queen Song #8:You’re My Best Friend (1976) – This classic Queen song is a fan favorite. It has been featured in recent movies such as Shaun of the Dead, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry and The Breakup.

Top Ten Queen Song #7: Under Pressure (1981) – Queen and David Bowie teamed up to create one of the greatest Queen songs ever. The music video was just as memorable and it visualized the song well. In 1990, the familiar melody of Under Pressure was used by Vanilla Ice in his hit song Ice Ice Baby.

Top Ten Queen Song #6: Somebody To Love (1976) This great hit from Queen could easily have been higher on my list. With strong background singing, guitar riffs and the incredible vocals of Freddie Mercury, this is as complete a Queen song as you will ever find. In 2009, the hit television show Glee rejuvenated Somebody to Love by using it in one of the episodes.

Top Ten Queen Song #5: Bohemian Rhapsody (1975) – Quirky, upbeat and dynamic. These words describe the eccentric Queen song Bohemian Rhapsody. It is one of Queen’s signature hits. In 1992, Bohemian Rhapsody was featured in the opening scene of the hit comedy Wayne’s World.

Top Ten Queen Song #4: Crazy Little Thing Called Love (1979) – The interesting thing about this great Queen song is that it is performed in the style of another great artist: Elvis. Nonetheless, Queen’s flair still comes through in this song.
