The Many Uses of Static Cling Stickers

Custom static cling stickers made from vinyl, offer buyers exceptional value and a no-mess option. Static cling stickers aren’t manufactured with an adhesive backing. As a result, they never cause a mess. They can be easily applied to a surface, removed and then re-applied when and if necessary. Removing these types of stickers won’t alter its appearance or damage the surface it’s been placed on.

There are many potential uses for static cling window decals. They are often used to keep track of oil changes, both past and upcoming ones and as window stickers. These types of stickers are also great for kids. Kids love to play with stickers and parents love to buy them because they’re inexpensive and help keep kids occupied. However, stickers in the hands of children can be dangerous. They often end up on furniture. When stickers have an adhesive backing, it can be difficult to remove them and even when it is possible to remove them, residue and a portion of the sticker is inevitably left behind. Not so with static cling stickers. Because they use no adhesive, they can easily be taken off without creating a mess in the process. They are thus a better option for young kids.

Static cling stickers should only be used on flat, smooth surfaces. If these types of surfaces are not available, another type of sticker will need to be utilized. Clear static cling is ideal for glass surfaces, as it makes the decal easily applied and removed, when needed and without leaving behind any type of residue or a portion of the sticker. They are superior, in this regard, to adhesive backed stickers.

It is important to note that these vinyl stickers are designed for indoor use. Individuals or organizations that want their sticker(s) to be seen from outdoors will find that static cling stickers can still be a good option. They can be placed inside windows, just not directly outdoors. Static cling stickers are great for the workplace. They can be used to inform patrons of a company’s hours of operation. They also work well as those “Push/Pull” signs that are commonly placed on doors.

Grown-ups aren’t as enthusiastic about stickers as kids are, at least not for themselves. This is partly because, adults know the damage that stickers can cause and because there are few places an adult can think of that they’d like to place a permanent sticker. Static cling stickers may however, be the exception. They can easily be removed and won’t leave any type of residue or paper behind. If a sticker has a cool design and/or contains useful information, it may find its way onto a mirror or a piece of glass in a person’s home or car. For instance, stickers that contain the date of a person’s last oil change and the date of an upcoming one can be found in millions of cars across the U.S.
