The cross where Jesus died,
Witnessing, His Mother cried.
She had raised Him from an infant,
Then lost Him in an instant.
He was born in the manger
And associated with strangers.
Even so, He inspired many stories
Filled with many glories.
They placed a thorny crown upon His head,
And with all the beatings His blood did shed.
Nailed to a cross,
He suffered much loss.
God forgave the other man
Who was at His right hand.
They buried our Savior in a tomb.
For 3 days He stayed in that room.
From the dead Jesus rose,
Everyone knows.
He stayed another 40 days
Then went up in heavenly praise!
One day the Lord’s coming back.
With power never lack.
The Christians will leave this place
And finished will be this race!
