Sunshine Tea: a Summertime Poem

Burning scorching sun shines down
leaving skin like lobsters
peeling, blistering
ouch.

Dark brown tea
no, amber, when the sun hits it
served over ice and sweetened
house wine of summertime

Front porch swings sway
as cool evening breezes waft along
Weary from scorching the earth
the sun sets
