Today is the day
I forever want to stay-
jolly people are awakening,
my belly will be for the taking.
Snow on the ground
my heart starts to pound-
the happiest day of the year is here,
now I can spread all my Christmas cheer!
Elves are in the shop
making all the toys pop-
the emptying of the shelves,
bring joy to all my Elves!
Mrs. Claus in the kitchen to bake-
I try and take-
one of her delicious treats-
when she says have a seat!
I don’t sit-
because my reindeer are having a fit,
my sleigh is already to go now-
so I go to the sled and take a bow!
Onward I call them – Prancer and Dasher,
I know Rudolph will get me there faster.
This night is finally here-
and I am so glad to share my Christmas Cheer!
