Ramen Recipes: Chicken Ramen

College is expensive. Ramen noodles are cheap.

Being a college student, I frequently eat Ramen. I also frequently get bored with eating plain Ramen, and that leads me to experiments such as this one.

Recently, due to an unrelated injury and a pill I have to eat to take, my boyfriend and I came up with the following idea as a new Ramen recipe that is incredibly simple.

Chicken Ramen recipe

1 package chicken-flavored Ramen noodles

1 can of chicken chunks

Instructions for Chicken Ramen (microwave)

Break your noodles up if you want them like that. If not simply add them to the bowl.

Add water.

Add chicken. A can of chicken will do at least two bowls depending on how much chicken you want in your Ramen.

Cook in your microwave. Times will vary from microwave to microwave, but four minutes is usually perfect for ours.

Stir in Ramen seasoning.

Allow to cool.

Enjoy.

One tip: use a bowl that won’t get extra hot in the microwave such as a ceramic bowl. A plastic, microwave-safe bowl will work best.
