Paris Hilton’s “Drunk Text” and Other Reality Star Lyrical Masterpieces

Nobody is a fan of the drunk text. Unless Paris Hilton is behind it. That’s right, the ultimate party girl is back and she’s ready for another shot of… no not vodka – but another shot at pop stardom. And she’s totally ready for another shot of vodka! Who are we kidding? The leaked song “Drunk Text” accompanied with a music video went viral as soon as it dropped. In the collaboration with the Colorado-based production duo Manufactured Superstars, Paris narrates a clubber’s inner monologue dealing with common club encounters like dancing, drinking and flirtatious interactions.

Paris sings… um, speaks with red stained lips. Such entrancing lines include:

“I went out to the club the other night to, ya know, dance with my bitches.”

And:

“He asks if he can text me after the club. He hands me another shot of vodka and I say, ‘Sure.’ “

And the constant repetition of:

“It was just a drunk text.”

This is more than ‘just a drunk text.’ At times it even sounds something like a PSA. Especially this line:

“You take the word ‘sex’ and mix it with ‘texting,’ it’s called ‘sexting’. When you add drunk sexting, the words just don’t make sense.”

Preach it, Paris!

Here are some other club encounters we’re hoping Paris will address:

1. Photo Bombing

2. Double Shot

3. Where Is My Clutch?

And perhaps the most promising suggestion:

4.Duck Lips

Just imagine the music videos to accompany these songs? So good. But “The Simple Life” alum isn’t the only reality star to dabble in the music world.

1. Kim Kardashian’s “Jam (Turn It Up)” : Best line – “I’m going to work like I’m paying my bills.” …Because no one works to pay bills.

2. Heidi Montag’s “Higher” : Best line – “Am I dreaming?” Honestly, this was a tough one. Considering she uses the words up, fly and higher 70 percent of the time. And the video? Ah, what a gem. Seriously, are we dreaming?

3. Kim Zolciak’s (The Real Housewives of Atlanta) “Tardy for the Party” : Best line – “I’ll be feelin’ good by nine. After my third glass of wine. On the dance floor lookin’ fine. All the boys tryin’ to get in line.” The rhyming alone is worth a second listen.

Paris’ first album titled “Paris” debuted in 2006 and rose to number 6 on the Billboard 200. “Drunk Text” will not be on Paris’ upcoming album but the girl is definitely taking chances and we love it.

Oh Paris, this is so much more than ‘just a drunk text.’
